Latest NDoc release adds more flexibility for home care clinicians
Aiming to help its customers produce better patient outcomes, Thornberry LTD has launched further enhancements to its automated care plan software. These latest additions to the documentation options within NDoc Care Pilot™ offer clinicians the ability to further customize patient care plans with specific statements tailored to an individual’s unique care needs, the company announced last week.
Using these custom “assess, instruct and outcome” statements, a company release explains, clinicians can provide more patient centered care with greater results. Once captured, “workflow prompts them to focus on these special care interventions as well as the standard care plan interventions which will in turn produce improved outcomes.”
“In a world of long narratives to translate the patient care instructions, this is an advantage to clinicians,” explained Candy Willhite, RN, Thornberry’s Manager of Clinical Systems. “Good communication and access to patient information is the core of quality patient outcomes. With these latest NDoc® enhancements clinicians can further identify the patient’s unique needs, tailor the patient’s instructions and track the completion of both short and long term goals.”
